Dr. Akhil K. Das
Akhil K. Das, M.D. is an HS Clinical Professor at the UCI Health Department of Urolog and a practicing urologist specializing in minimally invasive treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and lower urinary tract dysfunction. He is known as one of the first surgeons to perform HoLEP in the U.S., after developing the surgical techniques used to treat BPH with HoLEP.
Dr. Das also treats patients experiencing symptoms of overactive bladder, kidney stone disease, prostate cancer, and neurogenic bladder disorder. He evaluates patients in his Orange County, CA clinic and provides personalized treatment according to each patient’s health needs.
